Rental Tracker Privacy Disclosure

This disclosure explains how SnoozyFix uses the Apple AirTag or similar location tracker installed in rented equipment. It supplements the SNOO Rental Agreement and the general Privacy Policy.

Purpose

The tracker protects equipment owned by SnoozyFix. Location is not routinely monitored. Authorized SnoozyFix personnel may access location information only when reasonably necessary to locate or recover equipment that is lost, stolen, materially overdue, or subject to an authorized return or retrieval.

What the tracker may do

A renter's phone or another nearby device may display a tracker safety alert. The tracker may emit a sound. These behaviors are controlled in part by Apple and participating devices.

Prohibited tampering

The renter must not remove, disable, damage, conceal, or tamper with the tracker. A tracker alert does not authorize tampering. Contact SnoozyFix with any concern.

Access and retention

Location information is accessed only for equipment protection, return, or recovery and only by authorized personnel. SnoozyFix does not sell tracker location information or use it for advertising. Records created for a recovery event are retained only as reasonably needed to document the event, resolve a dispute, comply with law, or protect legal rights, then deleted or de-identified when no longer needed.

Consent and questions

The rental page requires electronic acceptance of the Rental Agreement and the tracker disclosure before the rental can be added to the cart. Questions may be sent to contact@snoozyfix.com.
