SNOO Flashing White Light: Normal Startup, Reboot, or Boot Loop
A flashing white Activity Button does not always mean the SNOO motherboard has failed. Brief flashing during startup can be normal, a recoverable mid-session restart can point to unstable power, and a unit that never reaches solid white after complete power checks can indicate a board-level startup fault.
Safety first: Unplug the SNOO before opening it. Never repair-test with a baby in the bassinet. After reassembly, reinstall both safety clips and complete the first test with the bassinet empty.
Classify the flashing pattern
- Flashes for about a minute, then becomes solid white: This can be normal startup behavior.
- Stops during a session, flashes for one or two minutes, then recovers: Treat this first as a possible reboot caused by an interrupted or unstable power connection.
- Becomes solid white but will not connect: This is a Wi-Fi or app-provisioning problem, not the same as a boot loop.
- Never becomes solid white: Complete every power and timing check below before considering board service.
Required checks for continuous flashing
- Unplug for at least one minute, then reseat every external power connection.
- Plug directly into a known-working wall outlet and test a second outlet.
- Avoid power strips and extension cords during diagnosis.
- Test a known-good compatible SNOO power supply.
- Wait several minutes and document whether the light ever becomes solid.
- Record when flashing begins, whether the SNOO Wi-Fi network appears, and whether the app shows Clips Not Engaged.
When board repair may apply
If power reaches the SNOO but startup never completes after every check, a motherboard, firmware, or flash-memory fault is possible. This pattern does not prove a specific failed component. Record a video from power-on through the continuing flash and photograph the bottom label.
The board-only motherboard diagnostic and repair service covers eligible board-level faults. It includes diagnosis, eligible repair, bench testing, return shipping for the board within the United States, and a six-month warranty on the repaired fault. Send the motherboard only, never the complete SNOO, unless SnoozyFix separately authorizes it.
Continue through the interactive flashing-white diagnostic.
If the result is unclear, send SnoozyFix the Date Code, bottom-label photo, and a short symptom video before ordering a major part.
