How to Find Your SNOO Date Code and Model Year

The SNOO Date Code or early Lot code helps determine disassembly access, center hardware, wiring style, and platform-support design. Use the printed code together with a visual check of the installed hardware. Do not choose model-sensitive repair parts from appearance or purchase date alone.

Where to look

  1. Remove the baby, mattress, sleep sack, and loose accessories.
  2. Turn the SNOO off and unplug it.
  3. With another adult helping if needed, safely position the empty unit so you can read the manufacturer label on the bottom.
  4. Look for the field labeled Date Code. Some earliest 2016 units may instead require the Lot code.
  5. Photograph the complete label clearly enough that every digit can be read. Keep the serial number private except when sending it directly to SnoozyFix support.

How SnoozyFix uses the code

  • 2016 and 2017 designs: Typically require underside access and may have early center and wiring hardware.
  • 2018 through late 2021 designs: Generally use later top-access hardware and may still have original grooved platform supports.
  • 2022 and newer designs: Already use the overmolded platform-support design.

Production transitions can overlap, and a previously repaired SNOO may contain replacement hardware. The Date Code narrows the path, but the installed component is the final compatibility check.

If the code is missing or unreadable

Do not guess. Take one photo of the full bottom label and separate close photos of the center hardware, one platform support, and the relevant connector. Send those photos to SnoozyFix before buying a model-sensitive part.

Start the guided SNOO diagnostic. It asks for the Date Code before making a model-specific recommendation.
